The immunity system of the mother is blocked during pregnancy so that the unborn baby is not considered a foreign body and rejected. This means that the pregnant woman notices, in a highly subjective manner, environmental influences such as her social surroundings and its particular conditions. These often distorted observations cause stress. Because of this stress, the body pours out, alongside existing hormone fluctuations relating to the pregnant condition, additional stress hormones that have an affect on the unborn child. During this time, development of the foetus or embryo is hindered and replaced instead by the stress feelings. During 120-minute treatment sessions, this emotional stress is traced by the practitioner and channelled out. As a result the patient becomes more of a self-developing individual, the one that would have developed without the breakdown and trauma. Metamorphosis is for the clients themselves a comfortable, relaxing experience.
