Metamorphosis is a treatment based on gentle touching of the feet, hands and head. Also known as Prenatal Therapy, it was developed by the Briton Robert St. John (1914-1996). The basis for this energy therapy method is the recognition that the zones of the central nervous system - and its relationship to the hand and foot reflexes - are related to the development of the embryo and foetus during pregnancy. Stress, experienced by a person even before their conception and until their birth, can be alleviated and can at best abolished. This stress can produce predetermined behaviour patterns, broken up through Metamorphosis. Whether patients are conscious of these patterns or not, a transfiguration follows and personal development through increased freedom of movement, action and thought. | |
